So next month, on September 9th-11th, I’ll be in Lebanon, Tennessee at the Fight Laugh Feast Network’s second annual conference. The topic will be The Politics of Sex.
I’ll be speaking Friday evening, September 10th. My topic will be Gay Pulpits: The Politics of Feminism, Homosexuality, and Unfaithful Children.
Other speakers include Voddie Baucham on Critical Sex Theory: How to keep Marx and Freud out of your Bedroom, Doug TenNaple on Sex, Lies, and the Prophetic Poet, David Bahnsen on Punk Rock Home Economics, and Toby Sumpter on Molotov Monogamy: The Political Power of Marriage & Family.
There will be a new component to the conference this year with SWAT Talks on Saturday, September 11th. SWAT stands for Strategic Weapons and Tactics. These talks are designed to be practical, Gospel-centered discussions about topics that don’t always get a lot of air time in the public square. SWAT Talks will consist of intentionally-paired speakers who converse on a specific topic related to the overall theme of the Politics of Sex. These talks include the Sheologians, along with Nancy Wilson and Rebekah Merkle on Diapers, Dishes, and Dominion, Rob Sentz, Zach Lautenschlager, and Dennis Sarfate on Why All People Matter, Ben Merkle and Jeff Shafer on Contemporary Sex Law and the Abolition of Man, and a whole lot more.
You can sign up for the conference here, as well as view the schedule, book recommended hotels, and contact the Fight Laugh Feast Network with any questions you still might have. Also, if you have been teetering back and forth on whether to become a Fight Laugh Feast Club Member, this should push you over the edge. You can get $100 off the conference free with a club membership. Or that’s what they tell me anyhow.
I hope to see you there in just a few weeks.
