You only go around once, Wendy, and so we should make the most of this life we have. A popular sentiment. A common syllogism. This often turns out to be a justification for living a messy life. My attempt: You only go around once, and what has this hapless fellow done with his singular shot? Look at the room, what’s it filled with – everything, junk, old head-gasgets, a bedraggled dog, a beat-up boat, an old shot engine. I guess if you have to explain it, it isn’t funny, but I got a chuckle out of this. He’s 90% of the way around his turn and all he has….is the accoutrements of a junk yard. Black humor? Yes!

Never heard of him before. :) ” Your cartoons often depict people, mostly couples, driving one another crazy.”
