Before the void was filled, or even existed to be filled, there was God the Speaker, God the Spoken, and God the Interpreter, and they had not yet brought the heavens and earth into being. But when they did, the spheres and stars and waters and lights and shadows all began their play and interplay. One world was formed, spoken by the one true God. Within that one world, countless creatures were shaped as reflections of the variegated wisdom of the true God—rocks and zebras and starfish and palm trees and oaks and mountains and galaxies and grains of sand on the seashore. Morning and evening, sun and moon, sea and dry land, male and female, all were divided, and all brought back together in a harmonious unity. And then came man and woman.
