Minister: Lift up your hearts!
Congregation: We lift them up to the Lord!
God of all gods, King of the heavens, we worship You now in the Spirit You have sent, and in the name of Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
You have spoken Your Word into this dark world so that we would have light to see, and we rejoice in the light You have given us. You are Light itself, and if we know You, we walk in the light, and Your Word keeps us from stumbling.
For the redemption that You have bestowed, we give thanks. For the salvation You poured out on the world, we give thanks. For the opportunity to gather in Your presence through Word and sacrament, we give thanks. We praise You gladly,
And so, gracious Father, we worship You now through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end, amen
