Minister: Lift up your hearts!
Congregation: We lift them up to the Lord!
Why do You not stoop to my cry?
Come near, oh Lord, and hear
Grant me the wisdom of Your Word,
And let my supplication come,
Deliver me as You have said.
My lips will utter all Your praise,
When You have taught Your law.
My tongue shall speak in gratitude,
For all Your words are righteousness,
And all Your laws are just and right.
Extend Your hand, deliver me,
For I have loved Your law.
I long for Your salvation, Lord,
Your law is all my one delight,
Let my soul live before Your now.
My living soul shall praise You, God,
So let Your judgments help.
I am astray, like a wandering sheep,
Seek out and find Your servant now.
I never will forget Your law.
And so, gracious Father, we worship You now through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end, amen
