The Green Sea Psalter: First Decade
Over the course of twenty years or so, I have been preaching through the Psalms, ten at a time. I thought I would be a fun exercise to edit the sermon outlines for these psalms, also ten at a time, and include some metrical musical settings of these psalms. Hey Doug, Thanks for the round-table discussion on the Trinity. You said that you draw the line at affirming 3 wills in God. I’m considering joining a church that teaches that each person of the Trinity has their own will and mind, although they don’t disagree with one another. Is that an immediate walk-away-situation? I’ve talked with the elders about it some (are there some good specific questions I should ask?) and it is intentional and not some sort of off-the-cuff slip up (It’s also spelled out in the by-laws). Bob. It’s be better to not join a church that embraces known heresy with a capital H. Honesty you’d be better to move. It’s not a small thing to get the object of our faith that wrong.
Just leaving this here. Feel free to dispute any of the points brought up, I want to make sure NONE of them are incorrect.
Chris, you’re not just taking on Doug here. Or the denomination. Or the alleged offender. I’d highly recommend a different path for posting such accusations. Right now, you just seem like a jr devil, and “accusing” looking for their credentials in trying to do a random takedown.
