I need to explain a few housekeeping details for the blog, information that will be relevant for the next couple of weeks. Nancy and I are getting away for a few weeks of vacay, and we may or may not have an Internet connection, I may or may not feel like blogging, and I may or may not have anything to say. So what I have resolved to do is this.
Going through the archives, I made a list of posts I would not mind putting into circulation again, and I have put them all on a schedule, at least one recycled post every morning. This is to keep a semblance of new content on the front page, and also to answer my critics who don’t like it that I don’t recycle. That should start Wednesday morning, as in, tomorrow.
This way I can just take it easy, and not worry about anything. Of course, if Donald Trump declares himself to be the return of Sun Myung Moon, I will probably emerge to say something. Otherwise, if you want to maintain that wired connectedness that the apostle Paul talked so much about, you will have to look for Nancy or me on Instagram. We will be taking pictures of where we are going, and it won’t be downtown Detroit.
Looking forward to archival reminders. Have a great time. No doubt you will come back fired up about a raft of stuff.

Improvement idea:
“not doug wilson’s” bad comment was deleted. Rather than just deleting bad comments, could another catagory be added to the Controversy Library?
How about new catagory be called “The Troll Preserve”, a respository for bad comments?
This way “not doug wilson’s” and other weak comments would remain on file,
including “not doug wilson’s” really creepy icon! ; – )

I wish the comment sections on the new old posts weren’t closed. Doug is always trying to shut down free expression and discourse.
I really don’t think so in this case because I have encountered the same issue on other websites. Maybe it is a site rule. I thought that we could just tag our comments onto a current topic, with a subject line so that people know which post we are discussing.
