I have received further information about the situation in the MTW with women’s ordination. First, the church in question has in fact called a husband and wife team to the pastorate. But the church is not in fact a PCA church. The PCA has a cooperative agreement with a local denomination there, a denomination which has settled in favor of women’s ordination, whereby MTW missionaries plant churches which then become part of that local denomination. So in effect the churches are planted by the PCA, but do not become PCA churches.
So then the sum of the matter is that the PCA is not (yet) ordaining women to the ministry, but has no problem working closely with those who do.
