I am very pleased at the arrival of this new little book, Why Christian Kids Need a Christian Education. Part of the Answers in a Hour series, this is a brief introduction to the very large question of Christian education. It is designed to be the kind of book that schools could use to introduce new parents to the basic concepts of biblical education.

Thanks again for a copy of this brand new book hot off the press. It was amazing that at this Black Friday Doorbuster there wasn’t any rioting, fighting, foul language or broken windows.
This advertisement is a little behind. I’ve had this book by my bedside table for at least 2 weeks. And I’m in the UK!
Curious why you choose Athanasius Press for some of your books when you have Canon?
It is because I just received my author’s copies. As to publisher, most of my books are with Canon, but we try to have friends all over.
So long as you don’t sign away the copyright

Pastor Wilson, is this book a republishing of Excused Absence? If not, which one of the two would you recommend to introduce parents to the concept of Christian Education, this one or Excused Absence? I found Excused Absence well made for that purpose.
Nick, no, it is a different book. Excused Absence interacts more with the arguments for keeping kids in the public school. This is more of a ground up, constructive exercise in why we should provide kids with a Christian education.
I have to check it out!
