Please consider this a most important update. I would like to commend this article from The Federalist to you all. Over the last week or so, one of my criticisms of Southern has been the way in which Matthew Hall’s statements were scrubbed –without explanation or comment. In this article, Mohler explains how they were removed and why, and does so in a forthright way. This statement, in my view, moves it from a discreditable episode to a straightforward and honest disagreement. I am also grateful for Mohler’s statements in the article about Tom Ascol. Having been really dismayed at the way things seemed to be going earlier, I am encouraged to be in this place. But the disagreement is still an issue. Stay tuned.
