One of the great things about the Planned Parenthood videos is that they have made abortion the issue it needs to be, and have made it an issue in this presidential campaign. The Stonewall movie is coming together in remarkable ways, just like this moment in pro-life activism.

In regards to PP, anyone ever see The Island (2005, with Ewan McGregor & Scarlett Johansson)? Setting aside any commentary about the quality of the movie overall, my wife and I noticed some similarities in how the clones were regarded in that movie compared to PP/StemExpress’ treatment of the babies in their “care” (#AnotherBoy).

Yes! That is one of my favorite movies. I’ve always wondered if they intentionally included such a strong pro-life message in the movie, or if it wandered in the guise of clones.

I have seen it, and liked the message, thought it was wrapped up with a bit too much Michael Bay silliness. Definitely thought provoking, though.
Very interesting comparison. I know this is a teaser trailer… but does anyone know what the modern equivalent of “a million people dying” would be? Does Wilson really think this could turn into a shooting war?
He’s making reference to the Civil War and the killing of 600,000+ people to end slavery.
If the United States suffered a similar percentage of the population dying today, it would be somewhere between 6 and 7 million.
There is also new evidence that the 620,000 number is a lowball estimate.
Yeah. I get that. But is he positing that there are really people out there who want this to turn into a civil war fought with guns? I’m sure there are some extreme right wingers with some Jesusy ideas that are just itching for a slaughter… but I have not heard of any serious denominationally-considered “war plans.” Is that really what he’s talking about?
Pastor Wilson: On the topic of PP, isn’t one of the rules for radicals to make it personal with the opponent? Shouldn’t more attention be given to PP head Cecile Richards? Can’t we begin lumping Roe’s Justice Blackmun and his legal 55 m killed in the hall of villains along Hitler, Stalin, and Mao?
