I think of that wonderful text, “The Dangerous Book for Boys” by Conn and Hal Iggulden. It seems that when my son wants to smuggle bottle rockets into our state (because their sale is banned) and have missile wars with his neighbors (who can only be jealous that he even HAS bottle rockets), he is thus being properly “dangerous.” Conversely, when he spends all of a sunny Saturday plopped on the couch with video games, he’s becoming “endangered.” Naturally, there are at least 12 other examples that come to mind… Given some of Nate Wilson’s writings, I wonder if he’d… Read more »

We need updated definitions of endangered and dangerous…endangered in what way, dangerous in what way…
I assume he meant dangerous, in the same way that Chuck Norris is dangerous. Which is also why my children are black belts.
