Got My Fingers Crossed!

A few days ago, I recorded here the news that the American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression had included Southern Slavery As It Was on their list of banned books. There was an article about this in the UI student newspaper, and today William Ramsey, one of our our intolerista professors here, wrote to the paper saying a bunch of things, but among them was the claim that the ABFFE had removed our booklet from their list. The paper replied that as of press time, the booklet was still listed on the official website of the ABFFE (and I checked too, and there it was). But one can still hope, and I guess you could consider this a prayer request. Not everyone gets to be on a banned booklist, but then, to get banned from the banned book list . . . superlatives would not do the situation justice.
