All this talk of gully washing, soaking everybody after the Spirit falls sounds just like a New Testament baptism, and nothing like the kind practiced by sacramentalists. It seems you can’t help yourself. This is baptism envy. I doubt Peter had a little sprinkling in mind when he likened baptism to the flood. Why can’t a personal revival involve a soaking just as a corporate one does? Isn’t that the whole point of the New Covenant? A great chapter though, and so is the preceding testimony!
