There was supposed to be a letters post this morning, and there almost was one too.
My understanding of what happened was this. Some time yesterday a semi ran through a utility pole up in Spokane and took out the power, along with a fiber cable. They couldn’t repair the fiber cable until they had the power back, and had tested it. That took a while. This meant, downstream, that a bunch of people in Moscow lost cell phone coverage yesterday.
And then we woke up this morning with the Internet down, in a development that I suspect was related to all the foregoing. Now I had the letters halfway ready to go, but no Internet. You just can’t do what you just can’t do. And in addition, this week NSA is hosting an MFA Intensive that I am part of, so I didn’t have a chance to go back and do anything about it later.
Now see? Not only was that an adequate explanation, it also was also more than adequate.
