Slicker Than a Pocket Full of Pudding

Introduction

So Nick Fuentes is now maintaining that white people who are opposed to open borders should make a point of voting Democrat in the mid-terms, and they would do this as a way of “punishing” the Republicans for being feckless. You register your hatred of open borders by strengthening the hand of the “open borders forever” party. Got it. Tricksy move.

And Candace recently called for the populist right and the populist left to “come together” in order to fight our lizard overlords, whose UFOs are currently being housed on Epstein’s Island. Look it up. What this actually reveals to a discerning observer is that the populist right she is talking about is only the tip of the horseshoe that has always had an ideological affinity with the other tip of the horseshoe. A straight line with commies on the left end and fascists on the right was never an accurate analogy. It has always been a horseshoe, and the distance between the national socialists and the international socialists was never enormous.

And Tucker? I don’t know what Tucker thinks he is doing . . .

One book I can recommend to pretty much everybody at this juncture would be Eric Hoffer’s The True Believer, in which, among other things, he observes the interchangeability of dedicated fascists and communists. They have similar operating systems, and their parts are compatible. They have had their quarrels, true enough, but they all run along the same lines.

An Op, Of Course, But What is Underneath That?

Candace began her public career as an ambitious leftist climber. She then had a “conversion” to conservatism as signaled by her Blexit move, which somebody should look into, and bounced around the conservative world for a bit, leaving a trail of debris behind her. After Charlie’s death, what should have been a unifying moment for conservatives if ever there was one, she began an unrelenting attack on Turning Point, Erika, and assorted others, and now appears to be making her move. She wants the right and left to “come together” in a spirit of unity, and she appears to be fully prepared to make a deal that would partition Poland. What is actually happening in all this is that she is returning to her factory settings, which in my view are clearly on the left.

And Nick Fuentes? He is just like Roy Epps, that Teflon man who was inciting people to go into the Capitol on J6, and who was mysteriously left pretty much alone by those who were busy throwing grandmothers into prison. Fuentes was doing the same thing as Epps on J6, whooping and hollering to incite the masses, and yet the Feds decided to overlook all that. You know, boys will be boys. Especially when it is one of our boys.

So yes, there is an op going on. Not the tiki-torches-Patriot-Front kind of op, no. This op is much sneakier—slicker than a pocket full of pudding, as the saying goes. But the fact that it is sneaky doesn’t mean that it is not obvious, and please stay with me. I want to argue that it is the kind of op that is so flagrant, so contradictory, and so screamingly evident, that it required a massive precondition in order to seem at all plausible to more than half a dozen people. What did our world have to be like in order for these people to seem reliable and trustworthy? How many hits of acid did it take?

The precondition I am speaking of is spiritual blindness.

“That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: Which say to the seers, see not; And to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits”

Isaiah 30:9–10 (KJV)

It is not possible for a generation to be chumps of this magnitude without it being overwhelmingly a moral failing. And you can’t reason your way out of a moral failing; the only thing for it is repentance.

Postmodern Relativism in the Schools

Remember that we live in a time when statements like “that’s true for you but not for me” make apparent sense to a lot of people. And the reason those statements make sense is because nobody listened when C.S. Lewis first published The Abolition of Man—in which he demonstrated that when education abandons the inculcation of the absolutes found in what he called the Tao, what you get is a generation of men who are exceedingly manipulable. These people are not only gumby-men, but they were deliberately manipulated in order to become the squishiest kind of gumby-men. Their education system did not fail. Their education system achieved their goal. They hit their target. It wasn’t a target they should have had, but they hit it.

Private Christian education, particularly classical Christian education, has enjoyed a significant resurgence over the last generation, and we have been graduating vertebrates, but it has not been a big enough resurgence to educate more than a fraction of today’s adults. Now our government schools are relativistic at the core, and almost everybody in the current yelling matches that we call politics were educated there. This includes most everybody. The majority of those on the left, and on the right, and on the dank right, were educated by relativists. And it shows.

Folks on the right enjoy pointing out the absurdities of the tranny movement, and their “optional realities.” “Yes, these are XY chromosomes, but the lived experience feels like they are XX.” Ho ho ho. But what we are seeing in this deconstruction of conservatism is that numerous right wingers have pursued and adopted their own set of optional realities. Whether it is a bad case of Jewfluenza, or economic idiocy, or historical blinkers, they have abandoned the objective reality of the external world in favor of their favorite influencer’s talking points. So what’s going on in Gaza is “true for them.”

What I am arguing is that those who are following along with this farrago of contradictory and malicious nonsense are people who had to have been educated in a pedagogy of mush. Those on the left who are shrewd and insightful, the Alinsky types, don’t have brains of mush, but then again, they are the ones running the op. But if anyone goes along with it, gaaluk gaalook, they are the manipulated. There will always be a handful of those running the con, and they have to be smart enough to do that, but when the masses are convinced that “we have always been at war with Eastasia,” and moreover, convinced of it pretty easily, this is a testament to the quality of their education.

So I have tagged the culprit as our educational system, but we still have to go deeper. That is because education is education in terms of a worldview, and worldview represents your ultimate religious commitments. Education, even quality education, is no savior. It can help out with damnation, sure enough, as I have been arguing, but it contributes nothing to salvation. It is a fruit of salvation, part of cultural sanctification.

Christians and Absolute Truth

I could multiply quotations here, but let me content myself with just three. Truth has absolutely nothing to do with how anyone feels about it.

The correspondence view of truth holds that a statement like the soap is in the soap dish is true if, and only if, the soap actually is in the soap dish. This is a trivial example, but the truth illustrated by this example is of enormous importance. If we cannot point to a reality in the world like that soap there, using those words, then Christ is not risen, and we are all still in our sins.

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil (Ps. 97:10; Prov. 8:13). And a corollary, like unto it, is this. The fear of the Lord is to hate nonsense. As Lewis says elsewhere, unless reason is absolute, all is in ruins.

“Either the maxims of traditional morality must be accepted as axioms of practical reason which neither admit nor require argument to support them and not to ‘see’ which is to have lost human status; or else there are no values at all”

C.S. Lewis, “The Poison of Subjectivism,” Christian Reflections, p. 75

We believe that everything stated in the book that comes to us from God is to be accepted by us as His sure testimony, and nothing less than that. God forbid we should be ensnared by those various interpretations of the modus of inspiration, which amount to little more than frittering it away. The book is a divine production; it is perfect, and is the last court of appeal.”

Charles Spurgeon, Lectures to My Students, p. 222

“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.”

Ephesians 4:14 (KJV)

The relativistic podcaster always wants to seek out maneuvering room. He is full of twists and turns, and once he starts lying, it is far better for him if the one being lied to is a poorly educated chump.

God’s Fist

The fact that so many on the conservative right have been so readily taken in by shysters, grifters, miscreants, gypsies, tramps and thieves simply means that they are unregenerate and utterly lost. By this I mean that they don’t know God. If they knew God, they would know the shepherd’s voice.

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”

John 10:27 (KJV)

We need to come back to basics. Americans need to return to the gospel, and they need to return to a barrel strength gospel. Having done so, they need to drink it straight. And here it is.

You belong to a sinful and wretched race. Entangled in all the woes that this entails, you find yourself attracted to cheap and easy fixes, and you wind up listening to scamps and flatterers. The message of Scripture is clear. Repent of your sins, all of them—lies, adultery, porn, stealing, cursing, sodomy, abortion, hatred, malice, And include in that list, topping it off, your readiness to accept offers of snake oil salvation. Only the blood of Christ can deal with a leprous disease this radical. Look straight at your diseased fingers, call that disease by its proper name, and turn to Christ.

The reason Christ can do something about it, the reason that He can say, “I am willing, be cleansed,” is that He “bore our diseases,” as the prophet says. When Adam sinned in the Garden, all of humanity was there. The whole human race rebelled, and we have been in bondage to that rebellion ever since. Because an Adam was the one who plunged us into this mess, the only way to get us out again was through a second Adam. And so God sent His Son into the world to be born of a woman, to be born under the law. He lived a perfect, sinless life, which means that He had no sin of His own to answer for. As the Son of God, He was God’s representative to us, and as a true son of man, He was our representative to God. As such, He was the perfect Lamb, suitable and made ready for the ultimate sacrifice. He was the only possible suitable sacrifice.

What God did was to take up all the sins of all His elect people, place them on that perfect Lamb, such that the Lamb became fully identified with the Serpent. And then it was that the Father poured out His fury and holy wrath on all that sin. He who knew no sin became sin on our behalf, so that God the Father could strike that sin with His fist. And what sins did He strike? All the sins of all His people, not leaving any out. What kind of sins? All of them, including those that we like to pretend are nothing more than political opinions. All men everywhere are commanded to repent, and to repent of all their sinning, but the only possible place to repent is in the cross. Look to Christ, come to Christ, and repent in Christ.

Repent of heeding Candace-dreams. Repent of your Jew-hate. Repent of your shifts and evasions when confronted for your Jew-hate. Repent of your contempt for your parents, particularly your father. Repent of your slimy thought life. Repent of your lust for money. Repent of being a click whore. Repent of thinking that Fuentes is presidential timber, some kind of a statesman. Repent of being led by the nose. Repent of being unstable and silly. Repent of being a chump.
