I am fond of saying that in order to fight a culture war, you need to have a culture. Tank warfare cannot be fought without tanks, and naval warfare requires ships. A real culture war requires real cultures.
This is why we are laboring to restore a classical and Christian approach to higher education. We are seeking to do this in a time when our generation seems hellbent on giving itself over to folly. From the same-sex scams, to the abortion carnage, to the judicially blind responses to Islamic terror attacks, we live in a time that is at war with the truth — any truth, it seems.
In response to this, some might be tempted to place too great a value on efforts like ours, and so I would first commend these thoughts by C.S. Lewis to help keep things in perspective.

If you look at the graphic included above, you will certainly see a college that is dedicated to something other than the status quo — because, as you might remember, it was the status quo ante that got us to this messed up status quo. The graphic represents something that is profoundly different.

It boggles the mind that NSA’s tuition is less than mine was at a small private college 32 years ago.
Thanks for the Lewis…This excerpt applies to other current contexts as well.
