Turns Out Here is Strange Enough

Of course, I want to drop a mention from time to time about the upcoming Grace Agenda conference. Why wouldn’t we drop a mention? We want you to come.

In this go-round, I wanted to draw attention to one of the talks that I think should be a stem winder, although I don’t know what the digital equivalent of that might be. On Saturday, Nate will be giving a talk on “The World and Its Alternatives.” As Nate is someone who writes about alternative worlds, it might be a surprise to know that I think he is going to say that there are no alternative worlds, just two alternative ways of looking at this world. As he has stated many times, his point in fantasy fiction is get the kids to look at this world right side up. And when you do, the discovery is that this world of ours presents quite an alternative . . . to what we thought was going on.

And if you needed any further persuading on the point, here is a link to his new and refurbished web site.
