This book, The Unprotected Class, is a timely book, and marvelously executed. And far from being an instance of white backlash, following its sober analysis and prescriptions will be about the only way to head off the ugliness of such a reaction.

In this book Jeremy Carl analyzes the results of our abandonment of the ideal of “equal justice under the law,” and shows exactly how destructive our ethnic folly has been. And the thing being destroyed is not the interests of this group or that one, but rather the nation that all of us, white and black, have to inhabit.

Carl handles this volatile topic very well. He demonstrates how bad things have gotten, and he does it without being bad himself. This was a very carefully written book. My father taught me to “always act, never react.” This is a purposeful book, not a reactionary one. The challenge is now to handle a topic like this without giving way to “grievance politics for whites.” In other words, Carl is not arguing for special privileges for whites, but basically for the removal of special privileges for all. And this he does very well. This is not an instance of whites trying to get on the CRT bandwagon.
