If you are within shouting or driving distance, I would like to ask you to do several things for me. The first is to mark your calendar — March 11, 2011, Friday evening. On that date, we will be holding a benefit concert in honor of Logos School’s 30th year of faithful service in the field of classical education. And because Logos provides a classical and Christian education, we thought a good way to mark the year and have fun at the same time was by turning to the only other kind of classic we know, which would be classic rock. Okay, and some blues.
You can find out much more about the event here. So secondly, please bookmark that page and return to it often — there should be regular updates. In fact, if you rummage around there now, you can find some video from one of our practices, and a brief interview clip, explaining the event. You can also find the play list, which should give you a very good idea of what to expect.
And last, if you see Clint Hughes, please make a point of thanking him on behalf of all of us. He has already put a large amount of work into this, and his labors should not go unrecognized. This should be a boatload of fun, and so please thank Clint and Lisa.
Hope to see you there.
