Minister: Lift up your hearts!
Congregation: We lift them up to the Lord!
Of mercy and judgment I will sing;
Unto You O Lord, I will always sing.
I will walk in wisdom, in a perfect way.
When will You come down to me?
Within my house I will walk the same way,
With a perfect heart before Your eyes.
No wicked thing will I behold,
I hate the work of wanderers;
I hate the stickiness of sin.
Perverted hearts will have to leave,
I will not commune with wicked men.
Who slanders his neighbor anonymously,
Who secretly lies, I will cut off that man.
A haughty look and an impudent heart,
I will never tolerate.
I will look to the faithful of the land,
And seek out their companionship.
The man who walks in a straight line,
He is the one I will employ.
Liars are banished from my house;
Weavers of lies will be sent on their way.
Early I will destroy all wicked tongues,
That I may cleanse the city of God.

And so, gracious Father, we worship You now through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end, amen.
