This is a great truth. Part of the reason our youth are addicted to fiction and fantasy is because the Bible has been taken from them — not just by state education, but by a theological industry comprised of men without a single iota of imagination or intuition. Their guardianship of the texts is a crucial ministry, but modern scholarship has unwittingly installed a veil between the Bible and the common man every bit as effective as that torn down by the Reformers.
