I wonder….why is it that moving my hands is any different than preaching the sermon, as far as preparation goes. I don’t think about my hand motions before I go up there, but I don’t see why sincerity would be left in the pew if I did. I usually love the Broadus quotes, but this one seems to be off. Unless I’m missing something.

Perhaps spontaneity can be practiced into the unconscious?
