Some preachers introductory canned jokes vaguely remind me of toastmasters.
Not that you can’t get past that if you find your passion.
Ultimately, at some point in each and every talk, you should be showing why wanted to become a preacher in the first place, don’t you think?
Funny you mention that. Met an old friend last week who, when he informed his pastor that he felt “called to preach,” the pastor sent him off to Toastmasters for training.
