Really enjoyed our time with the Apologia gang while they were here in Moscow. Here is one interview they conducted (with more to follow). The topic is enjoyment of God, reading the story you are in, moment by moment. Do you really believe what you think you do?

Great interview! I was wondering if you would be willing to write a post about what Nate was talking about: keeping short accounts with God and how that ties into our consistency as believers. It’s a theme I loved and wanted to emulate as I read Nate’s book and I’d appreciate hearing more of your thoughts on it. Thanks Pastor Doug.
Jacob — Type keep short accounts in the search box at the top, and you’ll find several posts that mention this principle. It’s one we hear a lot about ’round here. ;^)
Man, I’m tired of authentic Christians who wear their overcoats indoors. Why does everyone have to be so gal-darned earnest and sickenly positive and bonerfied about stuff… Nate was pretty good.
Excellent!

People with cool coats want to wear them.
Great interview. I talked about it with my wife last night, especially the part about Nate never having seen Mr. Wilson lose his cool over the course of a life. Wow, that is impressive.
Listening to this again and wishing there’d been more comments here. So many people read and comment on this blog who completely miss it’s author’s character. Nate, of course, gets his dad, and many would do well to try to grasp what he says about him.
