Congregation: We lift them up to the Lord!
Our God and Father, we worship You now, in accordance with Your Word, and in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ.
We offer our thanks to You, for we are Your people, and You have thrown down Your enemies, to the blessing of Your people for countless centuries. You destroyed Pharaoh, king of Egypt, for Your lovingkindness is forever. You threw down Og, king of Bashan, because of Your steadfast mercy. You brought Your people out of the Babylonian exile, with your strong right hand, because You never forget Your covenant kindness. You brought us all out of the ultimate exile of sin in the Exodus that was accomplished by Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection, and we praise Your everlasting love.
We praise You this morning as the one who will show this thankless generation what the true meaning of covenant mercy is. Deliver Your people, we pray, and magnify Your kindness. Deliver Your people, and define Your kindness.
And so, gracious Father, we worship You now through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end, amen.
