Congregation: We lift them up to the Lord!
Father of history, Father of the Lord of history, God of the Spirit who directs all history, we worship You now in the power and authority of the name of Jesus, and amen.
We rejoice that You have placed us at this point, in this time, and we would worship You faithfully in our generation. We ask that You would continue to make this worship central to all things. We confess that there is nothing more important than acknowledging You, and that acknowledging You in worship is the key to all history.
We pray to You now because we are Your people, and the sheep of Your pasture. We ask You to receive our worship, glorify it for the sake of Jesus Christ, and return it all to earth in a way that accomplishes Your good and gracious purposes.
And so, gracious Father, we worship You now through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end, amen.
