Congregation: We lift them up to the Lord!
God Almighty, Maker of all things, we praise Your ineffable wisdom and power, Your kindness and mercy, Your justice and law, Your Son and Your Spirit. We thank You for receiving our worship now.
We confess that You are the God above all gods. You ride on the thunderstorm, and all the storm gods of the pagans are abashed. You speak galaxies into being, and You know the name of every star in every galaxy. You know the name of every pebble on the dark side of every moon.
The grass in every meadow stirs under Your breath, and Your Spirit gives life to every living creature. It is therefore fitting for everything that has breath to praise Your holy name, including those creatures like us, who had to be forgiven for our rebellion first.
We thank You for summoning us to be part of Your people, and we glorify Your name now. Use our praise, we ask, to humiliate the principalities and powers.
And so, gracious Father, we worship You now through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end, amen.
