Father and gracious God, we thank You for all the Lord’s Days you have given to us, and we thank You for this opportunity of Sabbath rest. We are grateful that this commandment was made for us, and that we were not made for it. We are so grateful for the opportunity to build the coming week on the foundation of our worship of You this morning, and we ask You to build this house—if You do not build it, we who labor, labor in vain. We thank You now in Jesus’ name, and amen.
