Minister: Lift up your hearts!
Congregation: We lift them up to the Lord!
Creator God, You spoke the Word, and the heavens came to be. You said, let there be light, and there was light. You nodded Your head, and all that has creaturely existence sprang into being.
God of all Providence, every atom receives its instructions from You. The hairs of our head are all numbered, and You call all the stars out by name. The lot is cast into the lap but its every decision is from You. Father, we rejoice in Your providential care over all things.
God our Savior, we thank You that Your control over all things is exercised for our blessing and salvation, and we are grateful that all things works together for good for us, Your people, who love You and are the called according to Your purpose.
And so, gracious Father, we worship You now through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end, amen
