Growing Dominion, Part 5
The man who labors to build his house apart from the blessing of God labors in vain. The one who is under the blessing of God may succeed even though everyone else says it is a really bad idea. Although certain principles remain constant, the particular methods can flourish when God makes them flourish. And someone else can do everything “by the book” and still forfeit the blessing of God. In other words, one can plant, another water, but only God gives the increase. Again, God gives the increase. In our arrogance, we sometimes think that God is a vending machine—we do our part, He has to do His. But it does not work that way.
