I haven’t posted for last several days because I have been at the presbytery meeting for the CRE, which, among other things, changed its name to the CREC (Confederation of Reformed Evangelical Churches). Presbytery was a time of warm fellowship, and was truly a blessed time. Our worship service last night was a God-honoring time of service, in which we lamented our time in exile, and rejoiced at what we believe the Lord is doing as He brings us out of that exile — the wasteland of ecclesiastical modernity that was the 20th century. The CREC is now truly international — we received a church from Japan into full membership, received three Russian churches as candidate churches, and established a relationship with two churches in Poland. God is good.
And this morning I was blessed with the news that my youngest daughter, Rachel Jankovic, and her husband Luke, were blessed with the birth of their first child, Evangeline Mae Elizabeth.
