Today is the official release date for Empire of Bones, which you can get for yourself here. If you are in the Moscow area a couple hours from now, you can come down to the book release party at Bookpeople on Main Street, 5 pm to 7 pm. This is the third book in the Ashtown series, and it hums along just like the first two did. I enjoyed the 100 Cupboards series thoroughly, appreciating the writing as much as I do in this series, but I like the “setup” in this one better. Anyhow, there it is.
I have a copy of 100 Cupboards waiting in the wings for when I have finished reading through The Chronicles of Narnia with my kids. Looking forward to diving into both of these series.
My wife and I just finished Empire of Bones. We read through Hundred Cupboards together as well. Nate is a credit to you and your wife. I am in awe of how imaginative and original he is. What is more amazing is how he can be so original while ripping off God’s story at every turn. But, I guess that’s the paradox of creativity. He has a wonderful mind (or frightening, whatever).
