Let’s pretend that you guys are stockholders, and I am giving you all a report, an end-of-year round up. How did Mablog do this year? More importantly, how did your stock perform relative to Mablog‘s performance? Well, the good news is that, since your current translucent stock was valued at the beginning of 2015 at $0.00, the last 12 months would have seen that value triple.
So, seriously . . .
The good news is that during 2015 we saw about 3 million visitors. The busiest day was on the Fourth of July, at which time my response to Matthew Vines, Time for a Little Q & A, received about 33,000 views.
The top five posts for the year were that one, followed by In Which I Paint with Some Bright Yellows, then by Tolle, Legit, and then by A Nine-Pound-Sledge in the Freezer, and On Why Christian Women are Prettier.
Out of the top five, the only one that didn’t have to do with the sexual revolution was the last one, and it was indirectly related. In that post, I licked my finger and tried to touch the eyeball of egalitarianism, which is the hidden envy driver in all of this foolishness.
Using another metric, the post that got the most comments was A Mound of Pink Cotton Balls. This too was a post on the sexual revolution.
As you can tell, the homosex rebellion is a significant topic of interest to Christians. The Western world has risen up, assumed its full indignity, and has demanded that all orgasms be without fruit (#1-3), and where fruit has been conceived, that we fund an industrial complex dedicated to killing the resultant children (#4).
Also of interest to many Christians is the possibility of reading prose about our higglety-pigglety times that actually communicates the depths of our gonadal insanities, and to each new outrage responds with a cogent Christian thotwa. You all are welcome. Come, have a seat. Nobody need know that you are a reader. It is not illegal yet. But if you work for a Respected Ministry, make sure you use your mobile device. Maybe in a bathroom stall.

Not counting sites like Facebook and Twitter, the two top referring sites to Blog and Mablog were Challies.com and TeamPyro.com. So a tip of my blog hat to them.
The top three countries represented were the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. We got visits from 206 countries in all, with one visit, one time, from Greenland, but I bet that was probably somebody killing time in the airport.

One question: why does it seem as if comments are disappearing from older posts? For example, your Pink Cotton Balls post doesn’t seem to have any reactions below, which I highly doubt was the case. Does Disqus discard defunct comments?
My assumption is that it’s a Disqus glitch. Sometimes the comments just don’t show up, but then they’re there a few minutes later.

“Top tier” for number of comments? Lots of great commenters in this group, on Blog and Mablog, though it has to be said that Lady Dunsworth seems to demonstrate that “Wisdom is a woman”!

Thanks Valerie. I have read the justice book. I just want more of it. As to the food issue, I have read a lot of those posts but there have been less of them recently. I am going to reread a few for my enjoyment but I note that Doug takes on the fellowship issue (which is important). I haven’t found much talking about whether such beliefs derive from an anti-Christian perspective thus is a danger for Christians who subscribe to it.
