That’s Monument Valley in northwest Arizona on the Navajo Reservation. I believe it’s the exact spot where Forest Gump stopped running in the movie.
Monument Valley is an incredible place and everyone should visit. It’s not too far from the Grand Canyon and worth the trip if you’re in the area. The res is also a sobering experience; more people should understand what it’s like inside those borders.
