Re: “Watching a bit of Game Film”
I’m not the first to say it, and it has been patently obvious almost from the jump…very little of what was imposed on us was a “mistake.” Deliberate choices were made to exert and extend control, to reduce individual liberty, and to quash any scrap of dissension from the new orthodoxy. Those empowered to choose and impose did so with an evangelical fervor that we can only wish all Christians could exhibit.

Definitely very few mistakes were made. In Sept 2019, Wuhan Labs created a new viral strain, which was then called the “COrona VIrus Disease – 2019,” or as we now call it “COVID-19.” By Nov 2019, China knew it had a problem, as did the CDC. But regular Americans didn’t know until Jan 2020. By end of Feb 2020, everyone one in the world knew that a new virus had escaped the Wuhan labs and infected the planet. It’s a maybe we didn’t know what it was, exactly, or how bad it was, so some level of panic is understandable.… Read more »

Why should anyone believe you simply because you said so?

I found this rather disconcerting, since I heartily agree with most of your points, but there are several that are way off. It may be helpful to mention before starting that I have not been vaccinated against COVID, chiefly for conscientious reasons (the use of fetal tissue cell lines in routine testing) but also due to some concerns about side effects. We knew that there is no such thing as a vaccine for a virus. Still isn’t.We knew that what Big Pharma came up with wasn’t a vaccine. Still isn’t. Smallpox is a virus. It was eradicated by vaccines. (In… Read more »

“For tens of millions of doctors in every country to betray their oaths, and falsely claim that each of these dozens of different treatments works against a deadly disease, when they knew they did not (and especially if they knew that they could not), would be monstrous beyond belief.” That claim would carry a lot more weight in a situation where all sides had a fair hearing. What happened instead was mass suppression of one side and memory holing that would make Orwell blush. I couldn’t even buy gas without seeing print and “gas station TV” ads pushing the jab.… Read more »

There was certainly a strong campaign against so-called “misinformation” (much of which actually was, but much of which wasn’t). However, it was not nearly as effective as, say, 1984; it was not very difficult for me and many others to get a decent look past the official story to various other claims. So, for example, I rapidly realized (by mid March 2020) that masks, especially improvised cloth ones, were just quarantine theater, and that this had been well-established with good research not many years before. So I certainly agree that there was a lot of official misrepresentation of the truth,… Read more »

Interesting but, broadly speaking, not germane to my actual points. The post does not seem to claim that the various smallpox vaccines were completely non-functional, which was the key idea there. Even knocking down my previous assumption that smallpox was ended by vaccination to the smaller claim that vaccination was technically of some use but overall insufficient would not disprove any of the rest of my argument. (For that matter, even proving that all the smallpox vaccines, not just the 19th century ones, were completely and utterly ineffective would only mildly weaken my case, since I was arguing against the… Read more »

On the other hand, there was a LOT of this going in late 2021, on the heels of Biden saying you wouldn’t get COVID if you were jabbed. He also talked about the “unvaccinated” as if they were 21st Century lepers, and some “Christians” on this site used the same disparaging term and arguments. This screenshot is parody, but not too far from things I heard. It was part of fear mongering for the “worst winter of death ever!” in 2021-22 that didn’t exactly pan out.
