Doug gives a Shout out to Andrew Lytle, regressive and racist historical figure…anyone have issues with that? Lytle wrote a bio on Nathan Beford Forest, first grand wizard of the KKK. Shouldn’t that cause some sort of alarm to go off? Why are we supporting someone who glorifies racists, the confederate south, someone who thinks that slavery was somehow “mutually beneficial”? Trash…don’t be fooled.

“It’s lazy historical slander, citizen. Lytle wrote a military bio of Forrest focused on his cavalry campaigns, not a KKK love letter. Calling him regressive and racist for being a Southern Agrarian is just guilt-by-association nonsense. Not every Southerner before 1960 was a villain. Pastor Wilson shouting out a serious literary figure isn’t glorifying racism—it’s engaging real history instead of bowing to outrage mobs. History’s messy. Grow up and read the actual books.”
