Watchoo Lookin’ At?

A Modern Macedonian Call

“Come over . . . and help us.” Acts 16:9

Covenant Reformed Church (CRC) in Fairbanks, Alaska, became a CREC
Mission Church in August, 2015. The congregation has grown to 37
covenanted members (12 households) with an average Sunday attendance
of 50 souls. Currently, the Session consists of two men from the sponsoring
church, Covenant Bible Church in Palmer, Alaska. Two men of CRC are
beginning the training process to become local elders of the mission
church.

Covenant Reformed Church is a vibrant and committed congregation with a
healthy bank account supported by regular tithing from the members and a
relatively small level of monthly support from the sponsoring church. Please
visit CRC’s website for more information about the church:

Currently CRC is without a pastor, the previous pastor having left Alaska 14
months ago, due to a difficult family situation. While the congregation has
grown, both in numbers and in spiritual depth over the past year, they are
strongly in need of a full-time pastor. CRC holds to the Westminster
Standards and is looking for a pastor who shares that confessional
commitment and is willing to invest long term efforts into growing a CREC
church in Alaska’s Interior region.

We ask that potential pastoral candidates contact CRC through our
sponsoring pastor, Rev. Jack Phelps, at Covenant Bible Church in Palmer,
Alaska. He can be reached at (907) 745-7600 or via email at
cbcelder1@gmail.com.
