Ministry in Boise Area?
I am passing this on on behalf of my friends at King’s Congregation in Boise.
The King’s Congregation in Meridian, Idaho is seeking to call a full-time Assistant Pastor. By God’s grace, we have reached capacity at our current location (The Ambrose School) and are in the process of starting a second service in Nampa, ID. We have one ordained minister, Senior Pastor Alan Burrow (23 years), and one Pastoral Assistant, Geoff Francian, who is currently going through the CREC ordination process. We are seeking a third pastor to share the preaching and other pastoral duties amongst our rapidly growing congregation of 400+ members.
An ideal candidate is one who: 1. Is committed to the theological orientation of the CREC. 2 Agrees with our Confession of Faith (Additionally, we are in the process of adopting the
Belgic Confession) 3. Meets the qualifications for ministry in I Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and I Peter 5: 1-4. 4. Has considerable experience as a Pastor. 5. Has been ordained in the CREC, an adjacent Reformed denomination, or willing to pursue ordination upon call.
Interested applicants should send a resume and cover letter, including a list of references, to office@thekingscongregation.com.
