Myers’ tweet #5 is helpful. The basic concept of three persons in one being is just not that difficult to understand. Many questions may follow, but the doctrine itself is very accessible. Myers’ tweet #3 seems less helpful. One of the greatest practical implications of the Trinity is that we worship a being consisting of eternal fellowship and love. I very much like that series of tweets. I hope people continue to look up the things he is referring to and get an understanding of the differences he’s pointing out between how ancients and moderns deal with these kind of things.

On the other hand, I once preached a sermon using those analogies we’ve all heard to point out how they actually taught heresies such as modalism, etc.
Sometimes it helps to be familiar with heresy to understand right doctrine.
