Doug, I don’t know much about the Paige Patterson fiasco. It does seem that some of his advice (while not uncommon in times past) was misguided. Yet I am not certain those hunting him are entirely justified. I have only read the CT article. If you have any thoughts on the issue I suspect your readers will be interested.
Oddly, I was just looking into that, because there’s one of those disavowal petitions going around. The whole thing strikes me as bad medicine. What’s the German word for vicarious embarrassment?

Question for Americans. Seems like every website I subscribe to has sent out an updated privacy email in the last week or so. Has there been a recent law change about internet privacy?
I’m pretty sure it’s GDPR which is actually an EU law (though it affects many U.S. businesses).
