So . . . for the next two and a half weeks, Nancy and I are going to be off gallivanting to different places. I am going to have my computer with me, naturally, and so it is possible that I will be able to post something at my usual times. That said, this is nothing like a guarantee, and I will feel no pressure to post. Of course, I might want to if I have a moment and something huge happens.
It might be thin commons on some of the other stuff also. No quotations at 6 pm. The letters feature on Tuesday might happen, but it might also be shorter than usual. The Thursday Comment Cluster is imperiled.

What will happen otherwise? This is something of a makeshift, but if you have developed a concerning dependence on weird and convoluted metaphors, I will be posting, in serial fashion, the first six chapters of a forthcoming novel. The novel is called Love and Ruination, The subtitle is “An Engaging Tale of Two Clashical Christian Schools.”
However, I do have to warn you. After those six chapters, I will be back home in Idaho, and we will be all done with that and you will have to wait until the book releases to find out whether the butler had anything to do with it. Or if there even is a butler.
In those posts, the comments will be open for those who want to critique the style and syntax of my forays into fiction. That is fine, but make sure to limit your criticisms to areas that I don’t already know about.
