All right. So the good folks over at Canon Press are holding a monster deal on the Christmas book, God Rest Ye Merry. Until December 1, you can get a hard copy (hard copy, not hard cover) for $7, instead of the normal $16. Click on this for that deal. Of course it is normally $16 around holidays like Pentecost, and there is a reason for that, but analysis of market forces on the ecclesiastical year is a topic for another time. I don’t think we should get distracted right now.
The Kindle version is even cheaper. Go over here and take a gander. The e-book is a mere $2.99.
Speaking of deeper issues, selling books for one penny shy of three dollars always struck me as kind of a ninth commandment issue, right? Making you think you are getting it for two bucks, instead of getting it for what is essentially three? But everybody knows this, so that is not a problem anymore. Plus I am telling you about it. The book is basically three dollars. It is $7 if you don’t want some propeller head at the National Security Agency to know what passages you like to highlight.
Part of the reason for getting the book before December 1 is that it contains Advent readings that you can share with your family. There. I believe I have said enough.
Do you offer signed copies of your books?
What’s the best way to go about that please?

Did an earlier version of this post say that it was free for Canon Press newsletter subscribers? I thought I’d seen that somewhere, but now I can’t seem to find it.
It did. I think Doug probably mis-spoke and then edited that out later.
