Okay, here’s the deal. My debate exchange with Christopher Hitchens has now been released in book form, but if you want it right away, I need to explain to you the best way to get it. We have ourselves what publishers consider to be a pleasant kind of problem. The book is published by Canon Press, and the first printing has already been sold out (largely to the folks at Barnes & Noble and Amazon). So if you want to get the book from Canon, there will be a very short delay. The second printing was already ordered some time ago, and is wending its rapid way to our inventory stash here in Moscow. But in the meantime, please know that there are plenty of books out there available for purchase. Check first with Barnes & Noble or Amazon. But at the same time, check with them soon because a full-page ad for the book is in the latest Atlantic Monthly, which just hit the stands, and as a consequence the Amazon rankings are bubbling along pretty good. And Barnes & Noble is going to be featuring it in the front of their stores.
Releasing a new book is always fun, but for a number of reasons I believe that this really is a strategic book. Any ways that you all decide to help push it along would be greatly appreciated — whether by buying it, linking to it, reviewing it on Amazon, contributing to the buzz, etc. The Lord has opened a number of doors for us here and we really want to go through them (1 Cor. 16:9).
