Christ Church is conducting a job search with a view to hire a full-time Music Minister, someone who can lead our church community to continue in the Protestant tradition of singing psalms and hymns joyfully, with skill and understanding. We want a man whose family is in order, who has the necessary musical chops to lead a choir, orchestra, and congregation in our weekly music, and who plays nice with others. David is now full time with New St. Andrews. He still provides an occasional meditation for Christ Church, but we need a music minister full time also.
Isn’t Mark Reagan serving in that capacity?
Mark is currently serving in that position as our interim music minister. He is doing well, and has also been invited to apply.
Is your Music Minister a pastoral position? Does he ever have the opportunity to preach?
That is not entailed by the position. But it is not excluded by it either.
