Yesterday, a white guy with issues that go all the way down walked into the Holocaust museum in Washington and opened fire, killing a security guard. A notebook was found in his nearby car, claiming that Obama was being controlled by “his Jew owners.” Various natterers in the media were quick to blame the tragedy on the climate created by mainstream conservatives, not to meantime ticked-off welders who went to a tea party because they think their taxes are too high. This kind of analysis caused numerous dispassionate observers to scratch the tops of their respective heads. But the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s former pastor, showing a native genius in impeccable timing, said in the course of this same eventful week that Obama wasn’t being allowed to talk to him, the obstacle being “them Jews” that surround him. Heh.
NB: the fact that this post mentioned “Jews” should not be seen as an open invitation to post any old thing about, you know, them, even if your issues only go part of the way down.
