Last Friday I debated atheist Eddie Tabash at the SUB ballroom at the University of Idaho, and I was certainly pleased at how the evening went. I had debated him once before, six years ago, and would particularly like to thank Eddie for his personal cordiality — in both our debates. The Monday before that, I gave a talk to the college kids at Collegiate Reformed Fellowship on what objectives I have when I go into a debate. What is the point of a debate? Why do it? And most importantly, what does the Bible say about debating? It makes no sense to debate the applicability of Scripture to all of life in a debate, and yet not apply Scripture to the concept of debating itself. Anyhow, the good folks at Canon Press have bundled some of this up for you, and you can find out more by clicking on the ad below.
