Like Relativistic Girls

Now here’s a story that tells you everything you need to know about the moral bankruptcy of the secular West, and the impossibility of a secular multiculturalism. A true multiculturalism is something to be desired, but it is only possible in Christ. The concept of something like the United Nations is a good one — but could only avoid being a governmental, diplomatic, and ethical travesty if all the nations involved came to Jesus.

Chesterton famously said that if you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything. And you can’t escape the force of his observation by deciding to stand for nothing in particular, while allowing others to stand for their decided opinions. If the only thing you believe is that others can believe things, it will turn out that every decided opinion, especially the Marxist and Islamic ones, will carry the day, and only one decided conviction, that being the confession that Jesus is Lord, will be excluded. There will be more on this later.

Go back to the story I linked to, and consider the end result of a generation of feminist dogma. The problem is not that feminists decided to fight for the rights of women. In this screwed up world, someone needs to fight for the rights of women. The problem is that the feminists fight like relativistic girls, instead of following Jael, the wife of Heber.
