Dear visionaries,
A brief interaction with Robert, who thinks that I am forcing my moral standards, feeling threatened as I am, because a gay couple has entered my establishment holding hands.
So, I am forcing my moral standards on someone who comes on to my property in order to challenge my standards? Or do you not believe that a private business is privately owned?
He goes on to say that I maintain that a “business that sells a good or service publicly” can refuse service to a person on “any grounds he wants.” He uses the pronoun “he” because he says that in the world I have defined, women probably wouldn’t own businesses.
But actually, in the world I define women would own businesses. And they would have the right to kick people out of them. I would suggest that Robert get out of the psychic business.
He then resorts to the canard that we need to dust off those old 1950’s southern signs of “Whites Only” and “Colored Only”.
To which I reply, given the prevailing relativism around here, why not?
