Comes now some academic bloviation to help us all through whatever remaining prejudices we might have had about the molestation of children (HT: Baylyblog & Frank Turk). For those just joining us, the days are coming when the only entry left in the DSM will be the then outlawed practice of intercourse in the missionary position by a heterosexual married couple.
When things like this arise (as they will continue to do, more and more), the response among Christians consumed with a lust for respectability will be to tut tut at the alarmists. But let me tell you how it will go. Those who have been cowed on the homosexual question will continue to be cowed with every new demand of imperious lust.
Why wouldn’t they be? The principle works both ways. Those who have been faithless in little will be faithless in much.
